QTRGui Access violation

QTRGui Access violation

2005-12-25 by theo_kupfer

Hi,

I just installed QTR on a windows 2000 machine.

No when I try to select "Printing Model" I get the error message
"Access violation at address 00404CBA in module QTRgui.exe. Read of
address FFFFFFF9.

I get this with any printing model.

I did not change any other parameter from default.

If I now exit the program I have a QTRgui.ini file in the bin directory.

When I restart the program, I get the error message QTRgui encountered
an error in the QTRgui.ini file. QTRgui.ini has been deleted...

Copy of QTRgui.ini file:

[Printer]

What could be the source of my problem? Any help is welcome.

Thanks

What version of QTRgui are you running? This sounds like a problem that was
corrected some time ago. Is there a printer selected?

Re: QTRGui Access violation

Hi,

it is the QTRgui which is part of the Release 2.3.4 package.

The appropriate printer is selected, as it is stored afterwards
in the ini file.

Best regards

Theo

RE: [QuadtoneRIP] Re: QTRGui Access violation

2005-12-26 by Stephen Billard

Sorry, I can't see what might be wrong. Check that there are Quad and PPD files
for your 7800 in the appropriate folders. I have no access to Windows 2000, so I
cannot check to see if there is an incompatibility. Perhaps someone on the list
is using Win2k and can comment.
