New boy on the block!!!!!!!

New boy on the block!!!!!!!

2006-01-08 by fotoco14

Hi, Just a bit of an intro.
I have been using John Cones inks for a while now on my 1160, I have
now moved over to the 2100 and along with the Quadtone rip I am
getting some really fabulous results. I am basically a B&W darkroom
guy and never thought I would ever go digital, but the quality in the
portraits I take I feel is now surpassing what I have done in the
darkroom. So my congatulations to both John and Roy for getting the 2
things to work beautifully.I work mostly in a High Key type portrait
and I find the very delicate tones reproduce beautifully with the 7
inks and the fine adjustments on the Quadtone.
If you are interested have a look at my website, not all of the
pictures on it are Digital but it gives a feeling as to what can be
achieved and bettered.
Regards
Gerry Coe

PS looked for the 2.3.15 upgrade to sort out the orientation problem
but can't see it, on my screen the 2.3.5 is still the .14 version even
after I reload current page.

Handsome portraits!

I have the same problem with 2.3.14 Vs. 2.3.5. Happily the .14
version's great, but...
