QTR-Quadtone RIP

I posted in the past the same and couldn't solve the issue :

It happens regularly that when I send a job to the printer with QTR, 
the sheet of paper gets pulled through the printer without being 
printed at all. I cancel the job, restart it all until the printer 
prints (sometimes it goes fine sometimes I have a repeat of the same 
issue and keep on trying till it goes ok).

Settings :
XP, CS, QTR (lastest release), 1290, Piezo, file measurements always 1 
or 2 inches smaller than the media, single job at a time, loaded with 
file/open, 3 printers connected (but this does not seems to be related 
in anyway, they can be on or off without affecting), flatened Tif 
(compressed LZW) in greyscale 8b...

Any suggestions ?

Sorry I don t have a solution but my 1280 does the same thing.  There s no rhyme or reason that I can figure out.  I ll cancel the job, shut the printer off,

Mine are also direct USB connected.

Any idea who could help : I'm not desperate with the 1290, but I'm 
thinking of upgrading for a large format printer and roll printing.

I'd be really bothered if the same happens with roll printing on a 
4000/4800.

Have you tried asking at the Gimp community before I do that ?

Hi Oliver, No, I never thought about asking the Gimp group.  It certainly has something to do with that driver because it never happens with the Epson driver.
