Quad7600-UT7 printing model?

Quad7600-UT7 printing model?

2006-06-15 by mccarvill

Didn't get any replies to my previous post, so here's hoping the second
time's the charm. Are any QTR users printing with UT7 inks and an Epson
7600, and which printing model are you using?

I would have expected to see a "Quad7600-UT7" printing model listed in
the software (e.g. Quad2200-UT7) but there isn't. I'd like to clarify
this before I invest in a set of UT7 inks and carts for my 7600 (and I
can't get a straight answer from MIS).

Many thanks

Looks like there are no stock curves for the 7600/UT7 combo. What you could do, as a
starting point, is use the 2200-UT7 curves and work from there. It's all doable...just need
elbow grease.

Check the Files section for Carl's mini-tutorial...

Thanks, John. I'll have a look at that tutorial and the UT7 curves
posted on the files page. Hadn't thought to check there!
