My 1280 took 42 min, starting from when I clicked <Print>, to process
and print my 11x14 720ppi file at 1440 super / better. Not sure if my
computer (P3, 512 MB RAM) slowed things down or not. I just got a
new, much faster PC so I'll be able to compare.
I'm interested in this idea of slowing down the printer as well.
My "new" 7600 allows one to force a pause between passes so I'll be
experimenting with this at some point.
In terms of banding, I don't see any in the 720 ppi UT2 image on EEM
whereas I did see some at 360 ppi. Not much, but enough to prevent me
from wanting to show them to galleries, etc.
