Printing on glossy paper?

Printing on glossy paper?

2005-05-15 by jaktoy11

I would like to print on glossy <epson> paper and still avoid
the bronzing normally produced with the epson frontend. I have
read about curves <profiles?> but find no curves in the default
settings in QTR.

Are there curves available for glossy paper from anyone on the web?

Sorry for being a lamer at this

Frame it behind glass.

Curves aren't going to fix bronzing; two completely separate topics. Bronzing is an ink
characteristic, not a printing characteristic.

Curves DO affect bronzing... the result of yellow, reportedly.

There's no bronzing in B&W when you print "black-only" but with QTR
it's going to show up on glossy or semi-gloss, if only a little.

IMO the easiest way to defeat bronzing is to use matte paper. But if
you need a handsome high gloss with minimal bronzing, try Moab
Kokopelli.
