QTR-Quadtone RIP

Hi
Running a Quad PPC, 10.4.8. Installed 2.5 for my 3800. Loaded up inseparation.psd into CS2, 
set up no color management; selected printer; chose calibration; hit print button... nothing.

Watching closely, I see the driver load; the job spool; the printer clicks a bit; cleans the head; 
moves the paper into position... and then ejects the paper. Nothing will print.

Must be missing some step, eh?

Suggestions so I can try again, when I'm done slapping my forehead?

Working fine on a MacBook pro. Is yours intel or PPC? 
Is the 3800 working with the regular driver? Connected thru USB or Ethernet?
I was able to make it work, even printed the calibration pages. Converted the 4800 profiles 
and they work just fine, at least till someone comes with properly calibrated papers for the 
3800. Let me know

PPC Quad; works with regular drivers just fine, via USB. I had QTR for my 4000, so am 
familiar with it. Just noticed post about kludging the 4800 drivers and will try that. I already 
did one re-install, but maybe another is in order.

Well, I used the 4800 curves, and it printed the photo I'd sent it as a test.

Nonetheless, when I choose Calibrate... it refuses to do so. Nothing is printed. No paper is 
fed... nothing.

I'm on a Mac, but I'm curious: have you been able to load in inkseparation.psd, and choose 
calibrate, and get it to print?
