Print orientation

Print orientation

2007-04-18 by dispitzley

I have just updated to the latest version (2.5.1.5) When I want to
print in Landscape, the small preview pane is in portrait and vice
versa. I have tried both the Auto-Orient option checked and unchecked.
Also, how do I Print with preview, please, at least I can then see that
the orientation is wrong before printing, please? Am getting such
pleasing results with the software!

I don't know what's going on in QTR or what to suggest, but you can set your
printer driver properties to "Print Preview" before actually printing. In
the Epson driver, it would be on the main (initial) screen.

All the languages of art have been developed as an attempt to transform the
instantaneous into the permanent.

There is no print with preview capability in QTR for Windows.

As to the orientation, are you using a custom paper size? Try setting the paper
to letter. Then the page orientation will be narrow side up. The image itself
does not change orientation.

If you are using a custom page size, the "width" dimension will be up in
portrait no matter if it is larger than the "height" dimension.

I tried uninstalling the software and then re-installing and now the
orientation is back to normal. I do have Print Preview checked in the
Epson Main window, but don't get a preview in QTR; now that the
Landscape/portrait problem is sorted, the preview is not so important

Thanksagain.

QuadToneRIP does not make use of the Epson driver, so settings there are of no
use. There is no preview capability in QTR for Windows.
