Print spray for reducing bronzing
2007-04-21 by kohlbradley
I'm printing on an Epson 4000 with Epson UC inks using QTR on a variety of papers and am getting bronzing on all non-matte stock. Epson Premium Luster is the worst with Epson Premium Glossy a bit better and Hahnemuhle Fine Art Pearl showing the least amount of bronzing. I've tried spraying prints on all these papers with Hahnemuhle Protective Spray and Premier Printshield and the bronzing is reduced about by half and with Fine Art Pearl is reduced almost to zero. Does anyone know of a spray that will eliminate bronzing on non-matte papers printed with Epson UC inks? BTW, the Hahnemuhle and Premier sprays are the same product except for the labels. Same can, same can code, same effect on prints, same smell.
