Thank you for your response. I guess I worded it wrong. I am not looking for 
speed in printing my final picture, but to have more control over the final 
print. What I don't like about the PS/Epson system is that I can't print from 
just PS, but must make decisions in Epson also. When doing this, if you miss one 
thing you are now left with not that you planned. This is what I meant by 
redundant. If I understand QTR, I import in TIFF and then all decisions are 
within QTR up to and including printing. B&W is my forte and am always looking to 
improve the final output. Lastly, how is the learning curve and is the manual 
self sufficient?
