QTR-Quadtone RIP

have used 2.3.5 before, recently purchased 2.5.1 for my E7600, mac G4 OS10.4.1 and NK7 
inks. I have run the install profiles several times and it shows install in Terminal, but I can't 
find them in the drop down to softproof in CS2 or in Print with preview. What can I do? I have 
uninstalled the 2.3.5 first and then uninstalled the 2.5.1, but the same sittuation. Please give 
me some guidance. I am new to this group and thus my first post.

Joe,

You are mixing up ICC profiles and QTR profiles.  For the K7 inks only
QTR profiles
are provided.   These are used in the QuadToneRIP print dialog page.  See the
Tutorial.pdf page 11 -- they are also called "Curves".

ICC profiles are needed for use in Print with Preview and Photoshop
softproofing.
There are only a couple of generic ICC profiles provided like "QTR
Gray Matte Paper"
which can be used in Print with Preview.
