Help getting started

I use an Epson 2200 with Epson ink (matte black) for proofing and rent time on a 7800 with Colorburst RIP for final B&W prints on enhanced matte paper. I've just installed QuadtoneRIP on the 2200 and am on a steep learning curve (ha, a pun!). What Curves set-up best approximates the neutral B&W prints I'll get from the 7800? Thanks in advance for any suggestions that may come.
