Steven,
Yes, had a similar problem initially. Sent a photo of the set-up to Media
Street and they suggested I move the large, clear plastic tube support
further to the right; to about the half way position or slightly further to
the right. There was an immediate improvement, and further adjustments got
it going very well the same day. Now the tubes lay flat on the bottom as the
head moves to the left and pulls out neatly upon return of the head to the
right. Let me know if your adjustments do not improve the situation, and I
will search out the photo or take another.
Good luck.
Ken

Subject: [QuadtoneRIP] Strange behaviour Niagara 4
Hello,
anyone knows this problem using the Niagara 4 ink system with the 2400
printer: when starting printing the printhead goes to the left in such
a hurry that the plastic ink tubes which goes along with the head
always comes stuck or twisted inside the printer. I then have a few
seconds to correct this before the paper went down and printing starts.
Is this a normal thing with Niagara?
Steven.
