As an example, the Silver Rag warm profile that's part of the qtr download looks like this: N_OF_GRAY_PARTS=3 GRAY_INK_1=K GRAY_VAL_1=100 GRAY_INK_2=LK GRAY_VAL_2=52 GRAY_INK_3=LLK GRAY_VAL_3=15 Yours looks like this: N_OF_GRAY_PARTS=3 GRAY_INK_1=LK GRAY_VAL_1=30 GRAY_INK_2=LLK GRAY_VAL_2=11 GRAY_INK_3=K GRAY_VAL_3=1 You've also got some copy_curve stuff going on and I'm not sure what you're trying to achieve there. I would try using one of the existing profiles as a starting point. Howard -- www.howardshaw.org

i've been trying to use ron reeder's 'using the quadtone rip to print digital negatives' manual as a guide. i'll double-check the numbers, and compare it to an existing profile. thanks, bob k. > > rkamarowski wrote: > > i'm attempting to create a digital negative using an epson 3800 on > > pictorico ohp transparency film. in the bob k. folder i've put a jpg of
