QTR-Quadtone RIP

QTR 2.6.1, OS X 10.5.5, PSCS3    Copying an ACV curve from photoshop by dragging the ACV file to the text editor has worked fine until 
suddenly it will not accept a modification of a curve.

The acceptance of the  curve is shown here in the terminal page:

I have run the text file with curve one and it is accepted every time.  Running an identical file with the second curve is rejected every 
time.

Are there any rules to ACV curves that are transferred from PS in this manner?

The mostly likely reason is that the .acv is not a grayscale curve.
In other words it probably is
an RGB version that has multiple curves -- a grayscale .acv has just
one.  The difficulty is that
you can't tell easily.  It's determined by the type of file you had
open in Photoshop when you last
Saved the .acv file.  PS is very silent about all this.   So make sure
you have a grayscale file
open when you edit .acv files.
