QTR-Quadtone RIP

It looks like it should be possible to create curves that only use one ink at a time. This could be useful as a way to Flush / Clean with out wasting ALL the inks. Does anyone know how to do this? (I hope)

Creating a curve with just one ink is trivial: in the curve creation tool, set all inks on "not used" except for one. However, I'm not sure if PRINTING with one ink is the same as the same as FLUSHING the same channel. My assumption (but not more than that) is that some more force is used while flushing....
