Settings: "Advanced Adjustments"

Another (stupid) question on QTR...

How do Advanced Adjustments work?

I mean: what exactly happens when I adjust the Ink Limit to +5, for example? Does it mean that all ink limits in the profile are pushed to +5 (if default ink limit is 30, the applied ink limit with this adjustment will be 35)?

Same for gamma: what happens exactly?

Many thx....

The ink limit adjust is pretty straightforward -- +5 is 5% more ink.
So if inklimit was 30, the new limit would be 30*1.05 = 31.5
-- Note that all inks at all levels are increased by 5%.

The gamma adjustment works like Levels in Photoshop i.e. you
move middle gray up or down. But the value shown is different
than in PS. A +5 gamma is approximately a +5 at middle gray.
I.e a K=50 becomes like a K=55.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
