2010-10-21 by Richard Vanek
This maybe already known information and maybe not many people are using X-Rite 810 for measuring densities when creating new profile for QTR, but I though maybe it could be handy for somebody. I have recently installed Windows7 in 64bit version. Old XKey from X-rite from 90' is not working anymore and in noe of the compatibility modes. I was looking for some replacememnt and found software from X-rite from 2007. It is called ToolCrib in version 5 which you can get from http://downloads.xrite.com/downloads/software/Utilities/ToolCrib/pc/v5.0.14/ToolCrib5014-WIN.zip When it start select Generic device, correct serial port parameters and click on button X-Key Than you can adjust behavior almost same way as in old XKey and all works nicely. I hope I could help somebody. -- Richard Vanek portfolio: www.richard-vanek.eu twitter: http://twitter.com/richo_67 facebook: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Richard-Vanek/142576177492
