I'm also having a similar (or same) problem. When I print out the inkseparation tif file, from QTR calibration page, set at 100%, everything past about 50 is maximum black for all inks. I've tried to reprint it, from the calibration page, with the ink limit slider set to 70, 50, 30 and even 10% (!) and there was no detectable difference. I assumed I was doing something wrong.
Details: using Windows 7, E1400 (with EB6 inkset) and E2200 (with UT7 inkset). Same result on both printers.
