Printing the inkseperation.tif file only in B/W

Printing the inkseperation.tif file only in B/W

2011-01-03 by alexmurebeil

I have also a problem with the inkseperation.tif file printing.
I use win 7 and are printing directly out of the QTR programm in calibration mode.
The print self is only in B/W, there are no seperated different colors as it should be. Does anybody have an idea what could be wrong?
thanks,alex

If you're using QTR 2.7.0 you may need this patch -

I'm also having a similar (or same) problem. When I print out the inkseparation tif file, from QTR calibration page, set at 100%, everything past about 50 is maximum black for all inks. I've tried to reprint it, from the calibration page, with the ink limit slider set to 70, 50, 30 and even 10% (!) and there was no detectable difference. I assumed I was doing something wrong.

Details: using Windows 7, E1400 (with EB6 inkset) and E2200 (with UT7 inkset). Same result on both printers.

Thanks in advance,
John (first post)

I had the same problem & wrote to Roy. Unfortunately, I don't have a copy of his reply. To the best of my recollection, he replied that there's a problem w/QTR v 2.7.0 & (this is the part I don't remember in detail) some versions of Windows. I run Win XP64 Pro. He said to use the previous version (2.6.2, I believe) for printing out the calibration page. That's what I've had to do & it works.

I hope Roy responds to this personally, but maybe this will help until then.

Same Problem for me. I tried the patch but the print is still black and white ...
