Paper base

Paper base

2011-01-18 by Louis de Stoutz

Hello group, this is my first post here.
I am a photographer living and working between Switzerland and Greece.

Here is my question:
When I enter measurements for linearizing, should I enter relative
values, i.e. measured value minus paper base, or just the measured
values as if making a printer profile?

Thanks

Louis

Louis,

You should use the measured values - but since most papers measure less than 0.03 in L value, it should have no discernible effect if you were to use relative values.

Welcome to the group.

Shilesh

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
