ImageToRaster has stopped working

I have been using QTR for several years with an Epson 2200. I haven't used it in probably a year. I now have a need to use it to print some scanned diplomas. After clicking on QTRgui I noticed a message indicating there is a new version available so I clicked on the message which took me to a website with the download for a new version. I installed the new version and tried to use it but I got a Windows message that said "ImageToRaster has stopped working" and nothing would print. I next used QTR Cleanout and reinstalled the new version with the same results. I next used QTR Cleanout and reinstalled the old version I had saved, with the same results. I am running Vista. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
