I found ! The error is due to the fact that my file had layers in it,
QTR don't accept it.

Are you running on a PC or MAC? If it is a PC, try downloading the beta version
of QTRgui. www.sbillard.org/Shareware/QTRgui.htm

Layers should not be a problem. However, Large TIFF files might be a problem.
The beta has done several things to better manage memory.

Stephen,

Thanks, I have downloaded the 2.3.10.8, I will have to try it once I
get some time.
The file was 213M in size, is that too large ?

Yes, that size seems wrong. It should be about 1.37M

Re: Error

Stephen,

Are you sure of 1(point)37M or 1.37m ? This is very small size file !
Actually 200M are the minimum size I handle. I well pass over 1Go
with LF neg.
Does this means I wont be able to use QTR ? Sad story then !!!
I am on PC, WinXP.

Thanks
Michel

Sorry, I misunderstood your question. I thought you were asking for the size of
the QTRgui download. The size image you can process is limited by your computer
memory. I've run TIFF images of over 350M on my 1 GB system. That is about as
big is practical for me, since my printer max size is 13x19 inches less margins.
