QTR-Quadtone RIP

Just installed QTR on my Macbook Pro together with a 9600 connected via ethernet. I see the printer and have its correct IP address. I add the QTR printer and it creates the queue. I can test the queue by checking the ink levels. I create a B&W file in Photoshop and print to this queue. It adds it but just sits there with "Starting Page 1...". It prints the 1st inch then it stops but it never completes.

Note: I can print to this printer via the Epson driver in color just fine.

QRT 2.7, OS X 10.6, 8gb RAM, latest Epson driver from the Epson site.

Any ideas?

One additional observed behavior -- it prints using Preview but not via Photoshop!!
