Calibation Target Won't Print on Mac
2011-07-11 by LouisD
I've been away from QTR for 4 or 5 years. I used to use a PC, but am now on a Mac and trying to create some profiles from scratch for an Epson 1400. I can print with QTR profiles, but I can't seem to print the inkseparation6.tif calibration target in Calibration mode. The printer responds to the print command from Photoshop, but just shoots out a blank piece of paper with nothing on it. I've tried every setting I can think of in the QTR driver window, but it always shoots out blank paper. I'm running a Mac Pro, OSX 10.6.8 (snow leopard), PSCS4, and QTR 2.7.1 (latest release). I set the driver to calibration mode, and tried 1440, 1440 super, 2880, matte, photo, etc. Same thing every time. Am I doing something wrong? Is it my version of OSX, a bug, etc? Thanks, Lou Dina
