QTR-Quadtone RIP

Hi.
There's no set of profiles for the Epson T50 with Claria inks and install command for it I can find. Any hints?

I've been looking at buying an Epson T50 for home use and occasional  
small prints (we use a 7600 and a 4880 at the studio, and have tried  
QTR on the former with UC inks and matte papers). I'd like to know  
whether it's possible to operate the T50 via QTR - AFAK, it uses the  
same cartridges as the Epson 1410, R290 ad R390, if that helps.

I don't know what a T50 is but I'd say try QTR 1400 and see if it works.

thanks for the comment.  The Epson Stylus Photo T50, model C11CA45212  
< http://global.latin.epson.com/Catalog/Epson-Stylus-Photo-T50 >  is  
the only 6-color A4 printer currently available from Epson Brazil.

I suppose it's similar to the U.S. available Artisan 50, model  
C11CA45201 < http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/jsp/Product.do?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&sku=C11CA45201

Problem is Paulo, I don't know how to do that, since the command file for installing the 1400 (which I also have) does not recognize the T50, which I understand, so I don't know how to make it happen...

Thanks André,
maybe one of the other scripts/command lines (for other desktop  
printers) would recognize the T50? I suppose maybe the command lines  
for the R280 or R380 could work (the info I got from Epson Brazil says  
the T50 uses the same ink cartridges as the 1410, R290 and R390, so  
I'm guessing at that)?

To connect a printer and driver with different names you need to use a name
of an existing supported printer.  Look at Tutorial.pdf at the end for examples.
For instance to connect to T50, use QuadR280 as the name and driver.
Use Print&Fax of the OS to connect to T50 but change name to QuadR280.
