I wanted to comment publicly on this...

I picked Sliders, but I wanted to add a caveat.

The reason I like sliders is because I can look at the panel and 
"see/hear/feel" what the event/sequence will be. _BUT_ I would only wants 
sliders if they're smoooooooooooth. Most sliders at a reasonable cost feel 
a lot more gritty than their comparably priced rotary cousins.

So if the poll is meant to gather info for an upcoming module/interface, 
then please spend the bucks and pass on the cost for good feeling controls.
