Does anyone have any info on whether the outstanding PSIM-1 orders will be filled by Christmas? I read something to that effect in an earlier Brice post. My last two direct inquiries via email to Brice have gone unanswered, so I'm starting to feel a bit jaded... Just passed the 8 month mark a few days ago. :( -Russell

I'm doing my best. As far as email goes... I was having some email problems so if I didn't reply, that could be why. Thank you for your patience. - Brice http://www.SynthModules.com --- In SynthModules@yahoogroups.com, "pacificamsx" <pacificamsx@e...> wrote: > > > Does anyone have any info on whether the outstanding PSIM-1 orders will be filled by > Christmas? Brice, In all fairness, I do not think this is the kind of response that people expect. I speak from a bit of experience because I too take money up front for custom order merchandise I ship to my customers. And certainly, I have often had delays in shipping for one reason or another. People that pay up front have a right to regular and specific updates. Information concerning the quantity of progress is what they seek. People are very understanding if they know what to understand. I don't mean to be harsh. Please don't take it that way. But, "I'm doing my best" is really a bit breif. How about something like, "I have completed and shipped XX of the XX PSIM-1 modules that were ordered. Because of (fill in the blank), I can only complete X number each week. So, at that rate, I should get the last one out the door by (fill in date). Peronally, I expect mine to be delivered toward the end since I was one of the last to order. So, if I am number 49 of 53, or whatever, it would be nice to know that you are working on number (fill in the number). I'm sure others who are waiting would appreciate similar information. Trust me. I have some experience taking way longer than expected to deliver product. People who pay first on faith need to be updated on a regular basis, and without asking. "jaded" is understatement!!! Communication is *vital* in a situation like this. My emails remain consistently unanswered and last I heard in a forum they were going to be ready by the end of October (i paid in Feb). I'd be after my money back if I had already ordered, paid for and recieved my Stooge panel for it! The situation is *very* frustrating, largly because we're kept in the dark. You hit it on the head, Larry. I'm guilty of being too nice for too long. I am completely fried on the "I'm doing my best...soon" answer. Searching through the forum list, this pretty much sums up Brice's answers. It's NOT an answer, at this point-- It's meaningless. And Brice's email worked just fine during the ordering stage. I ordered near the end. Probably next-to-last and was required to rush out the payment to secure my place in the queue. Ah, why am I even typing this? Anyone still waiting is in exactly the same boat... It's really frustrating that there's nothing we can do, except complain, and I think we've all been pretty darn restrained in that department! So, I've got a Stooge Panel and a Synthmodules PayPal receipt. After 8 months, I'm wishing I had bought something else. I've even had time to change jobs and domestic partners since I ordered! :P Brice, if you read this, and your email is working, please contact me directly, as I need to change the shipping address. I will not post it on the forum. Maybe if I answer *your* email, you'll get my response. Please do not send it to the Calabasas address you currently have. -Russell > In all fairness, I do not think this is the kind of response that > people expect.

unfortunately, same status as everyone else(nothing) No reply from Brice either, never sent a personal update at all(maybe several months ago but can't even find that) So I wonder how many have received theirs and how many are still waiting? right now, this is not good. best, phil

I have paid for my PSIM-1, AND I have the Stooge panel to go with it. Complete radio silence from Brice does not help the X-mas spirit. I'm with Stooge on this one. A bit of inside scoop of what is causing the delay is the right thing for everybody to hear at this point. Tobias Enhus

All I can say is that I got mine early on and it is very well built and works as advertised. And then some - it IS a wonderful module. If Brice would deliver the rest I'm sure everyone would be thrilled with the results. I, like Larry, will probably be one of the last to receive one, as it was towards the end of the ordering cycle. I am content to wait as I believe Brice to be sincere in his efforts to deliver these modules. Brice: Sorry to hear of your troubles. Hope they work out soon.
