Hello Brice, I placed an order for a PSIM-1 module on 3/17/04. Could you please give me some idea of when I might receive it, if ever? Thank you. Mike Jeffries

Hi folks. Sorry for the delay in an update. As you all know, I started a new job and shortly after starting, I had to get things ready and fly out to do a show. I've been out of town at the NAB show in Las Vegas. http://www.nabshow.com/ It was a great show, but it was also the first time I've done a show at a booth and that was quite an experience in itself. 10 to 12 hours a day *standing* (not being able to sit down) on a hard floor and all the walking to and from the convention center. If you've never been, it's huge. I've never done so much walking and standing before in my life. But, the new job is much different than the last and this is one thing that is involved. So, I haven't been able to work on the modules in the last two weeks, nor have I had Internet access to check emails or anything. But, I'm back in town now (I got in Friday night about 11:00 PM) and after a day of trying to recover... have already started on the modules again. I am making progress and another update will be coming soon. I'm glad to be back in town. Las Vegas was "interesting" but I was so tired by the end of the day I didn't get to enjoy it that much. It's nice to be home. ...back to the modules... - Brice

During the day both of us intend to keep you appraised of our progress and hopefully (I am going to keep on him until he covers the status of every un-shipped module so you know where yours is). I am hoping that we will be able to ship a good few Monday after the holiday. As you heard several days ago Brice has a new job, hopefully this means we will be able to get several extra hours in each weekend as we both have Saturdays and Sundays off. Expect to hear more here tomorrow, and I will do my best to keep you guys in the loop, and get you an update as to the future production schedule. -- Andrew D Kirch | Abusive Hosts Blocking List | www.ahbl.org Security Admin | Summit Open Source Development Group | www.sosdg.org Key fingerprint = 4106 3338 1F17 1E6F 8FB2 8DFA 1331 7E25 C406 C8D2

Ok, here's the promised update: * all the led boards for the faceplates are done * all the PSIM boards are soldered * 7 faceplates have the ground wires done and are ready to attach to psim's (we should get most of these done next week) * 4 are fully wired and will ship to the next people on the list during this coming week. These module still requires calibration and testing therefore they will probably not all ship Monday. but you should hear from Brice if yours will ship. I spent most of the day working on the LED boards, while Brice was matching LED's, this process actually takes longer than soldering them onto the board. Once we finished those we moved on to the face plates and were able to finish several of those. Gary, as your board has a specific configuration I can give you a status update on it. The front panel grounds are wired, and the board itself is complete. The LED's are mounted on the front panel but we still have to put the front panel and the board together... (now where did those damn standoffs go?) Once the board is mated with the faceplate it will still require calibration and testing but should be shipping soon. -- Andrew D Kirch | Abusive Hosts Blocking List | www.ahbl.org Security Admin | Summit Open Source Development Group | www.sosdg.org Key At http://www.2mbit.com/~trelane/trelane.key Key fingerprint = B4C2 8083 648B 37A2 4CCE 61D3 16D6 995D 026F 20CF
