hey thanks for the detailed help. my mistake - i was plugging the MOTM sine into the linear FM jack, not the AC coupled dynamic 2 jack. after i corrected that, the envelope started to work as expected. and the thing sounds AMAZING now, too. off to play j (ps might want to tweak t
