Hey Bret,
yeah, the echoplex seems a good option too.
But the looperlative is the best by far. Beginning with stereo!
I don't want to know its price otherwise... the Jamman seemed to me an excess now.
I will probably get the behringer delay in a future when available, just for delays.
I went to the loopers delight page, but I didn't see the jamman review before, thanks.

I'm bret, and I'm a looper.
I've owned the original Lexicon Jamman, boomerang, and a few Oberheim
(gibson) Echoplex Digital Pros.
I love the echoplex pro. It can be used free running, tap to start the
loop recording, tap to close it and repeat at any point in time. 198
seconds of loops, can be broken into a,b,c... parts. Has undo (peel
off layers of loops), reverse and half/double speed playback.
Brothersync allows multiple echoplex pros to sync together, on the fly.
Great sound quality. Syncs to midi. Quantize button presses or not
to loop boundaries. Insert segments over existing loops. Customizable
user interface. Feedback control via footpedal. Can use it's dedicated
footswitch, or programmable midi footswitch like the cheap behringer.

The hottest looper on the market looks like the looperlative

like multiple echoplex' in a box
