David, You should be able to glue the wood together with white (Elmer's) glue. Be sure that the glue has not been stored where it could have frozen then thawed out. If in doubt, purchase new glue. You will need to clamp it down -- if you have a friend who is a woodworker or model builder that would be a good resource. When you clamp the panel back to the cabinet, use a damp cloth to wipe away any excess glue. As far as the electrical part of the work, if it is just one wire that broke you should be able to resolder it. Hope this info is useful.
