An amp you can transport easily is worth it's weight in gold. I have a Roland 100 (I got it in 1998 I think), which I decided on because I could carry it unassisted and it fit in the trunk of my car. Everyone wanted me to get a larger amp. Not an aesthetic decision at all, except the Roland was the best and most versatile amp I could afford.
