As a result, many users have set their profiles to not take friend requests from bands. Since I have a band profile myself, it seems only right to accept requests from other bands. However, if someone spams my comment section on a regular basis then I remove them from my friend list. I appreciate the time and thoughtfulness of people when they leave me personal comments. What you can do, though, is to send a message to someone and ask them to request you as a friend. I have done this a few times when, after looking at someone's profile, I was reasonably sure that they would find my music of interest. In every case, the people I contacted sent me friend requests. People do enjoy personal notes and some evidence that one has taken the time to actually look at their profile. And that's about all I know about Myspace. -- Kevin
