This raises a very good question about insurance. Last time I tried to insure my studio, I could not get all the gear covered at an affordable price. How would you even proceed to estimate and get coverage for anything very valuable you built yourself? Be it an instrument or an art work? Since I'm not officially a full time artist, I can just get coverage for other people's work, and if I'm lucky only the cost of our own creations. Good luck Philip!
