OT: 9 days until Team Spellbound does Walk Now for Autism Speaks
2010-09-30 by David V
Hello, Yea, it appear my boss has confirmed my day off! So I'll be at the Municipal Opera House in Forest Park in St. Louis for this year's Walk Now for Autism Speaks. If you're in St. Louis a week from Saturday and you want to participate with me,, drop me an e-mail. My fundraising goal for this year is $525, and we've raised $125. We have 9 days to go until the walk! I hope you might take the time to contribute $25 or more through Eric's personal Autism Speaks web page at http://www.kintera.org/faf/donorreg/donorpledge.asp?ievent=347295&supId=272075279&msource=boundlessfun If you'd rather contribute less than this (the minimum amount for an on-line donation), you can download and print out this form: ( http://www.kintera.org/faf/donorreg/donorpledge.asp?ievent=347295&supId=272075279&msource=boundlessfun# ) and snail-mail it to the address on the form. Walk Now for Autism Speaks is Spellbound's official charity. They raise money for autism research and support programs for parents with children with autism. You may or may not know, but my 10 year old son, Eric, was diagnosed with autism when he was 3. He is a charming kid who is just a normal 10 year old in some ways, but he has significant disabilities in speech, social skills, and emotional development. I have pages dedicated to him on the Spellbound and MotionGaming web sites. Thanks for your support!
