It's a virtuoso use of looping. I would have liked to have seen how that
worked live -- I'm not sophisticated at all on how this kind of looping
would be executed in a live setting with a theremin. All I've ever seen
"close up" were pedal style effects (like what Pamelia and guitarist Shawn
Mlekush use)

thanks victoria. it is jsut basic simple looping using
the boss rc50 (think that is it) and alternating
between long and short delays.

it is just like jamming with other people except they
aren't there. get an echo pedal and try it. you can
tap match the beat machine but being precise isn't as
critical as you might think. overlapping offsets makes
for fuller sounds. all of my loops are slack and non
precise.

playing with loops is not only easy, but it makes it
easier to stay on pitch. this teaches your circuits to
do the same eventually without the loops.

if you want to have more control or be more precise
then you need software or a more advanced looper. for
me, the less i have to think about technology or
technique, the more i can concentrate on not thinking
at all and just playing the music.

if you want to go cheap, get one that has at least a 2
second delay, otherwise the rc 50 or the line 6 delay
are good. i'm sure there are others that may be
better.
