Restoration of a Novachord

Restoration of a Novachord

2007-11-02 by David V

Hello all,

For antique instrument fans, here's a web site posted to another list
recently documenting the restoration of a Hammond Novachord. Aside from
the asinine web design (one page, 30 yards long, everything centered)
it's got some very interesting stuff.

I have the CD that's offered on the website. It's a very interesting
sounding instrument. The owner expects to release a set of samples
some time in the future.

There's also a guy on the Yahoo Mellotronists group that has four
Novachords in the restoration process. He's willing to part with one
in exchange for a MkII Mellotron, in case anyone has one laying
around.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
