While we¹re on the subject.... Has anyone a recommendation on a tube preamp? All of these I¹ve looked at are awfully expensive. I¹ve used a Moogerfooger murF for some compression and am working on some effects with it, but have never gotten a recording on my Mac (with a m-audio connection) that I¹m happy with.
