The internal SCSI connector card of Akai IB-103 is turned around, or at least is not designed in a logical relation to the standard connection of other devices.
If we look at a standard PIN must always read from right to left and from top to bottom, in the cable is always marked with a red streak. Well, to read the connection of the sampler card to match the standard should read the same but with a view to the left, part welded to the left of elements to the right placing the card vertically, as is installed.
Solution? Take a carving knife and cut the teeth of the cable connector to turn it.
The disk to start the sampler is started (which did not previously) and is formatted.
