Akai S1000 / S1100 samplers

If you want grit get the EPS classic, it allows for like 20 different sampling rates...The 16+ does not. You can select a low 8 bit rate and get a gritty sound. Don't even bother with a Mirage it's junk.

Both Ensoniqs are vary clean sounding at normal sampling rates just like the S1000.
