Hi Jahn, > First things first; I'd like to introduce my self as I'm a newbie to this list. My name is Jahn [NadaSvada], and I am from Norway. > > I just just got my second hardware sampler (S1100) wich I plan on using as drum machine. The sampler has onboard SCSI, and I'd like to install a 1GB SCSI disk that I have laying around. Could you please tell me what I would need to get this up and running? Is there a cable attached innside so that I can connect as is, or do I need to buy one separatly. If so, what kind of cable do I need? I have the S1000, well I share it with a friend and it's really hers but anyway :-) It has a card inside which has space for a scsi connector but does not have the header soldered on. I would like to put an internal zip drive in the place of the floppy but it needs to have a header soldered onto the scsi card. I can do that. I am guessing that the S1100 is the same way. Also... I believe that the s1000/1100 will only recognize 512megs of a hard disk. Kiira
