Hi, It is a specific model of floppy drive which was also used in pc's. Look around message 632. There we discussed the floppy replacement. You can probably find them on ebay. If you do a search on 'floppy' in this forum - you will probably find other entries. No the s1000 I was given doesn't have a scsi drive or hdd so weighing up the costs it is perhaps not the best of ideas to be spending much money when I could perhaps purchase a s2000 with 8 outs and memory for less than £100 > > cheers anyway > I will have to do a bit of budgeting > > Andy > > Sounds like your Floppy drive is shot, I too have the KBS1000 but I converted the floppy drive to a ZIP 100 drive. I can set you up with the correct items to make the change, do you have SCSI? You will have to send your SCSI card to www.Route66studios. com for the SCSI card update, they alos have the KBS1000 4.40 ver eproms. > > I >
