Akai S1000 / S1100 samplers

Hello,

Has anyone successfully sent or received samples over SCSI from Alchemy? I believe I have 
my SCSI settings correct on the S1100 however I just get transfer errors every time which 
usually leads to Alchemy hanging my Mac IIci. I am able to transfer via midi using my Opcode 
Studio 5 midi interface but that takes a very long time. 

For those of you who have an older 68k 68030/40 Mac , I recommend tracking down 
Passport Alchemy for sampler editing. I have been able to transfer samples to and from my 
EMAX ( also supports high-speed RS422 serial ), S950, S1100, Ensoniq Mirage, and EMU Ultra 
6400 with no issues whatsoever over midi. It blows any newer editing software out of the 
water.
