Sorry for being so vague. Im pulling them off of a bunch of my drum machines.... . I have the general idea of it down, but the OS seems ass backwards! Im really not liking the fact that you have to rename one of the internal sounds, and then copy it over. Seems a bit counter productive. However, I think the biggest mistake I made today was to sample about 20 hits into a keygroup, only to find that I had copied them all into the same instrument.. .. I wondered why it took just a second to save... (doh).
Having said that, I am still having problems with keygroups. Maybe if someone can just shed some light on setting up keygroups, where i have a diff hit on each key, that would be best!
Thanks

What do you mean w/ "transfer all my drum sounds into kits on the Akai" ?
Do you want to sample real drums ?
Do you want to sample drumhits from a drum machine ?
Do you want to transfer drumsamples from any digital media ?
or what ?

Hey everyone. I have had an S1000 for some time now, and have never
been able to get to grips with it. I am curious if someone can sit me
down, and explain to me step by step, how to set up a multisample. so
I can transfer all my drum sounds into kits on the Akai. I need to be
told specifically what to do, or else I just loose the plot.... LOL!
Thanks in advance, I know this is pretty general, but could really use
the help, and the manual is a bit weird in explaining it.
