----- Original Message ----- > Does anyone care to describe the pros and cons of the Q119 and the P3? Im just off to bed, so im going to be brief - The list is not endless, but certainly large. Ive jsut had a look at the q119 page, and it looks like a fairly standard analogue sequencer. Havent read the text, but looking at the picture. Other companies make similar, ie. doepfers a155. The p3 is a sequencer. The q119 is a sequencer. Both have dials. That seems to be about where the similarities end. The p3 is midi, the q119 analogue. P3 has memories, p3 allows all sorts of crazy sequencer modes that the a119 dosnt. P3 has variable gate lengths for each note. P3 is quantised to midi notes. P3 would need a midi>>cv interface to use with your dotcom system. An oakley/maddox polydac would go nicely with your dotcom... Anywat, theres not really that much point in me just listing all the differances, ill be here forever. I have a modular. Ive built a p3. It will offer ^so^ much more depth then an analogue sequencer. Theyre just not really comparable IMHO. There are pros to the Q119. There must be. Not having used one, i dont know them. Im off to bed. Cya later, Julian
