yup. the p3 will take what current it needs (typically 200mA). it's always
good to have at least twice as much current available as you typically
need, hence the recommendation of 500mA.

no... partly because i bought it from a going out of biz dealer, so i
don't know my warranty status, and partly because it's my only keyboard...
all my other gear consists of boxes with knobs, mainly.
