That's correct. I think someone (probably Paul N) mentioned the separate
lengths for controllers on Polymorph patterns as a desirable feature
many moons ago, but decided using a couple of extra tracks was a
reasonable work-around.
It's something I could implement, but it would need extra storage to
hold the last steps for the auxes, which could mean fewer patterns.
I get the feeling it would probably go unused by most people, and would
no doubt deeply confuse some...
Another feature for P4 ;-)

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
