Hi Colin;

I'm gonna put a PLED in my P3, they just too nice not to!

 From the datasheet that you have in your building instructions, it says 
"PDC-1602M".. I found 1602A & 1602B, but not M.

According to the data sheet here:

The 1602M has an active area of 56.2 x 11.4 and a shell size of 84 x 44 x 9.4

So, from the Crystal Fontz site, that looks like a match for what they show 
as the 1602A (even though the URL says "M"):

What do you think? Is the difference between the M and and A maybe just the 
display case?
