Could be that you have midi pass-thru turned on.
If the MC909 echoes notes to the P3, and the P3 echoes them back to the MC,
you'll have fun and games.
Inevitably with a loop of this kind, the P3 output buffer will start to
overflow, so I might add code to disable midi pass-thru automatically when
this happens, and warn the operator they may have a loop.
