now that i think about it for a second, i realize that i forgot about the
virus in there... between the 909 and the P3. when soft thru is on, which
it needs to be in order to record in the 909 and P3, then we get grunge.
if it's not and the 909 gets P3 data via the virus thru, things are fine,
only i can't record live playing...

so basically what i need to do is to get a motu midi express xt and a mac
to make it go... :) (tried using one on my PC once... wow was *that* a
mistake)
